Jim Polanco Martínez was born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, but grew up in Dorado, Puerto Rico, where he discovered his passion for music. With over 22 years of experience, he has worked with renowned urban artists such as Farruko, Dalex, VF7, Jon Lee, and Urban Goes Punk. From 2007 to 2015, he was a member of the band Plagio. In 2016, he joined the band Algarete, where he had the opportunity to perform at major events in Puerto Rico such as Las Justas, the San Sebastian Street Festival, and various patronal festivals. His experience on these big stages eventually led him to work with Farruko and other urban artists. Throughout his career, he has shared the stage with some of the biggest names in the music industry, including Jennifer Lopez, Marc Anthony, Ozuna, Bad Bunny, and Enrique Iglesias, Maluma, Alicia Keys, and others. Currently, Jim is an independent musician, exploring new opportunities in the industry. He also uses Blue Drum Heads, reflecting his commitment to quality and exceptional sound in his performances.
